And now doesn't include the Big East.

SDSU and Boise will feel awful silly once the Big Easy loses their AQ and they are paying an arm and leg to travel for minimal, if any gains.

Just wait...when Rutger, Louisville, Cincinnati realize they are outside looking in..they are going to move to Big12,Big10 or acc... no way they will sit still for this.. JMO.

Umm...I'm pretty sure those schools realized a long time ago that they would be on the outside looking in. If they had a place to go, they would have jumped on it. Remember Louisville and Cinci are former CUSA teams. Rutgers was awful for so long (until Schiano turned them around). Basketball is still a big priority for those schools and the Big East is still pretty good in basketball. For the other conferences to take these schools in, there has to be some incentive (other than just splitting the same money more ways).

Overheard that the lesser haves may create a bowl system/playoff system between them so their season isn't all for naught. Lot's of work but I'd be all over al bowl playoff system with us lesser haves!!

Winning is the only sure cure. Winning consistently...winning OOC slate...winning bowl games...and (obviously) winning your conference.

Success on the field can't be denied, even by the big shots. We are where we were.

Just win baby. Then we can have discussions about the unfairness of the system.

Except it has been denied...see State, Boise among others

Sure our bar is higher but, Utah, Boise, and Hawaii opened a path for the rest of us. Why has Boise stayed in the rankings (or just outside of them) despite some less than stellar performances? I think the old perceptions concerning the MWC strength of schedule are out the window.

However, without a winning record, we can't do much of anything about it.
