Why? Does Tom Burman recruit? Does Tom Burman hire the assistant coaches? Does Tom Burman call from the booth to phone in plays? Does Tom Burman let quarterbacks run for 5 yards a carry? Does Tom Burman throw interceptions? Does Tom Burman give up 300 yards on the ground every week? This is all really confusing. If we want to get all up in arms and hold people accountable why don't we start with the coaching staff, why don't we start with the offensive and defensive units? If we want to get all up in arms why don't we recognize the fact that Cal Poly is a pretty good football team, regardless of their division 1 status? I've watched that team play up close and personal more times than I count, and I can say they field some quality teams. The gap between FCS and FBS is closing.. UW lost to a FCS team, and two other MW teams struggled with FCS teams today. Last week a MW team was rolled by the defending FCS champion (who has defeated MANY FBS teams recently). Last week a low-mid FCS team beat a Pac12 team for the 2nd year in a row. The mid-upper tier of FCS is pretty competitive with the mid-majors of FBS.
