See where the Yoots hired Harding...

Glad to see it. Given how grand our Offensive Line play was last year, this almost assures Utah of a horrific season. Utah went from a proud team that could run the ball, to a backpeddling, get your quarterback killed outfit in fairly short order.

Perhaps this was Glenn's evil scheme from the beginning. Tank. Get fired. Get the hot commodity OC hired. After several seasons, hot commodity OC gets fired. Whitt is stupid enough to hire hot commodity OC. After a year of bungled offense, hot commodity OC and Whitt, the onside kickin' douchbag, are fired. A bit circuitous, but fun none-the-less.

Just playing Devil's advocate here.......what if DC succeeds and the Utes start making waves in the Pac-12?

He might. Especially if he can focus on offense and doesn't have to think about building a defense. I just have little faith in his ability to adjust, run the ball or protect a QB - given his track record here (and at Mizzou in terms of adjustments and propensity to abandon the run).

For my part, I will be cheering for the Utes to fail and fail miserably. Could take down 2-3 birds that I absolutely despise with one stone.

OK - so there is further proof that he stands no chance of succeeding at Utah.
Truth be told, I now pity whoever is in the offensive backfield for Utah, as they are going to get killed in every game.

They could win, but they could have won without him. It's not like Utah has been a crappy program over the last decade. Plenty of talent on that roster.

Missouri won with DC, of course they won without him too.

It reminds me of Schroyer and UNLV. UNLV has won, relatively, with Schroyer as an assistant, but I doubt UNLV fans are falling over themselves to deify Heath nowadays. I expect Utah fans will be in a similar situation in a couple of years after the rumors start to get out about DC's conduct.

What's really sad is that Wyoming hired both individuals. Not coincidentally they were both hired by Tom Burman.
