You should take a look at their website. It's like BYU all over again, except without BYU's success.MrTitleist said:fromolwyoming said:Can we get Baylor to join the WAC? I think they and Benson would get along just fine.
Why? Baylor will be important for the MW if it implodes.. it will keep a school in TX.
TCU returned like 8 starters total from the Rose Bowl team. If at least Dalton had come back, it would be slightly different, possibly even a TCU win.MrTitleist said:They did just beat the defending Rose Bowl champs. Also, their basketball is top notch.
My problem with Baylor is that they have been a perennial doormat longer than even SDSU was (by 3 years or so), had BCS access and money and all of the advantages that most non-AQ schools can only dream of, yet they underperformed for 15 years and are acting shocked that they'll be left behind. And somehow they think they'll be the dominant team in the MWC in all sports for a long time.Wyokie said:This might help the MWC. Think about it. Baylor knows they're heading to the MWC but as we all know, the MWC doesn't have AQ Status. So Baylor bitches at the Big XII about this and they all go O.K. how about we give the MWC our AQ Status and spot in the Fiesta Bowl. Baylor says O.K. And A & M is allowed into the SEC.
Boise's win over Georgia last Saturday may have saved the MWC's ass!!!!
So would SMU, and SMU is actually in the city. Baylor is in Waco.MrTitleist said:Baylor would get us back into Dallas/Fort Worth....

You can expect lawsuits to not only hold up this situation, but all major movement in conference realignment. People think its as easy as dumping your conference and moving to the next, but that's far from the truth. More of this will come.fromolwyoming said:The Kansas schools, ISU, and Baylor are looking at suing A&M. For what, I'm not sure, but that's what it's looking like.
