Yeah, we really missed Newton and Henry.

Gritty win. Jordan NesBEAST saved us in the second half. He is such a gifted rebounder and plays so hard
 
Hope they’re both back soon! We missed an outside threat in this one. They took away Obi and until Nesbit decided to take it over, we had no offense. Good game by that kid!
 
We are definitely not the most talented team. There are going to be a fair number of L’s this season.

But the team plays hard. As long as they keep up that level of effort, I’ll continue to watch and support regardless of their record.
 
Glad they got the “W” but the poor free throw shooting was the only thing that kept SELA in the game.

This is a giant gripe of mine. There's no reason a D1 basketball player should be hitting less than 75% of their shots from the line. Zero excuse. I hope that Sunny is all over their asses today.

Sonny has said they want to play "90's basketball". That typically involves having two bigs on the floor most of the time. The 90's bigs were notoriously bad at free throws.

The NBA eliminated 1-and-1 free throws many years ago and the high school game got rid of them last year. I wish they would follow suit and do away with it in the college game. For a poor free throw shooting team like Wyoming, those 1-and-1 situations can be very detrimental.
