SDSU down in flames

The question I kept asking myself all year long is whether the Mountain West was just that good all around or all the teams just weren't that good. I was under the impression that all the teams were talented. Sadly it's turning out to be the other.
 
I never would have rooted against a MWC team before (BYU always being the exception)...but its good to see SDSU lose and I hope they suck for a long time.

As far as the MWC, I think it was overrated. Wyoming played a cupcake non-conference schedule and there is no denying it. That said, I sure hope the Pokes can get the win in Pullman and I think they can!

Vegas beat UNC and the Tarheals are supposed to be legit.

I was counting on UNLV to come through and it pains be to see CU advance. I had low expectations for CSU and San Diego State.

I hope New Mexico outperforms my expectations. Against Indiana, NM St. took a little sting out of the Lobos' loss to them. Luster did not come from a half-bad team when he headed north to Laramie.
 
Hoping New Mexico can make a deep run. I wasn't terribly surprised with the MWC results so far. Colorado State basically played a road game, which we know spells their doom almost every time. That goes the same for UNLV. Some were surprised by their loss. Why? They've struggled against everyone on the road this year. San Diego State has been overrated since December. Them losing to a good NC State team wasn't a shock either.

Here's to the Lobos beating the Big East champs.
