Scott Frost is hired at Nebraska....

I think we all knew Frost was Nebraska's first choice. Bohl was probably a backup plan if they didn't hired Frost, but I truly believe Bohl would have said no.

Sure
6-20 without Josh Allen at Wyoming and Nebraska is laughing at us.
Bohl didn't leave Nebraska on Good terms (Karma Dennison and Burns)
We have a good fit Nobody else is looking to hire Bohl

Dumbest stat I've seen referenced.

Wyoming was 496-535-28 without Craig Bohl

Agreed. This one and the stat about back-to-back bowl games annoy me and make no valid comparison. Bowl games meant something back then.
In today's world, we would have went bowling from 1993 to 1999. Hell, from 1980 to 1999, we would have only missed bowl games 5 times.

Plus, with the Josh stat, it's not like Josh just threw a dart at a map and decided to come here. Bohl kinda had something to do with getting him here.

Exactly. That and taking out the starting QB and including losses during mostly the first 2 years after a coaching change as some sort of meaningful stat is nothing short of ridiculous.

but really he has not achieved much in the big picture at wyoming. He's making progress and building a program but we are four years in and still do not have a complete team. This will not be tolerated at Nebraska who believes they are still a football powerhouse despite the changing landscape.

Nebraska needed a hire that they believed would win and win now. Their expectation is going to be hard to be achieved by anyone.

For Frost's sake, I hope they give him a little more leeway than they did with past coaches. Honestly, what Bo Pelini did at Nebraska is what they should strive for, 9+ win seasons every year. His biggest problem was he was an ass and didn't win any titles (conference or bigger).

I think reasonable expectations for Nebraska are:
1) Expect to be in the top 3 in the division every year.
2) Expect to have a legit shot at winning a Big Ten title once every 5 or so years.
3) Expect to have a team with a chance at a National Title once every 15 years.
4) Academics on par with the rest of the Big Ten.

That's it, if anyone is expecting anything more stringent than that, then IMO they are not being very reasonable about where Nebraska sits in today's college football world.
