Schroyer or Shyatt...

Either way the CBI sucks. Let's reject any future bids to any tournament not named the NIT or NCAA Tournament.

The fans aren't excited, the kids aren't excited (and who could blame them really, giving up their spring break to play in the freaking CBI???), just an overall crappy time. I was OK ending the season a couple shots short in Vegas at the MWC Tourney, but to end it in freaking Pullman, Washington in the CBI?

Shyatt took Schroyer's team and more than doubled the amount of wins from last year. But the CBi, well, it sucks. I'll say that much. But we got dropped from the NIT like most of the 3s tonight.

Brutal. I would be more pissed, but I take comfort in knowing that nobody will even notice, so we have that going for us....

they'd have to give up their spring break to play in the NCAA too, to get better we have to play more games and build something special here!!! kinda glad it's over due to the fact we'd have to go on the road to Corvallis as well.....here's to a wonderful season though

Big difference between giving up your spring break to play in the NcAA tournament as opposed to the CBI
In front of 2000 people at the AA or in Pullman.

That was a couple extra weeks of practice.

I did not follow the CBI like I did the season or MWC Tournament.

Coach Shyatt sure kept his word to the Seniors. He said that they would have a memorable season. I am glad Coach is back and that the CBI, with all of its problems, was an issue that we had to face. That wasn't the case either of the past two years.

Any extra basketball can only be good for the younger players. I was disappointed too with not getting into the NIT but at least the players were rewarded in some way for their hard work and coach Shyatt got to work with them for an extra few weeks.

Way better than Schroyer years.

totally agreed all around!!!! extra ball works wonders when the young kids are getting something outta it, i know what got us there and the seniors got lots of reps but Shyatt will work wonders, plus talks of recruiting down south for us!!! it's all gonna be good, competitive in the conference is all i ask for

We saw some good things from the guys coming back, especially Washington in Post and rebounding, and to a lesser extent, Nance showed flashes of incredible plays (3 pointer, and jumpman dunk for example), but also some Freshmen mistakes as well.

I don't know how productive the team will be next year, but after another year under Shyatt, I think we'll see some marked improvement all-round. We just need someone who can at the very least fill in for Waddell for down in the post, if not better, as well as a slasher or two that can also nail 3 pointers somewhat consistently.

We have some glaring holes...next year could easily be a step back, but I am confident that Shyatt & Co., will not allow that to happen, and have leads on some surprises.

maybe we overachieved this year but I'm truly happy with the direction we are heading!!! NO worries here, just building and growing!!!! Pokes are up and coming!!!
