I know hindsight is 20/20 and our schedule is now full through 2019, retrospectively, and if the decade crowd is right, maybe Burman should have went for the money rather than Gardner Webb and Wofford.
If the next 5, 6, 7, or 8 years (whatever the patience crowd is preaching) is a wash, instead of scheduling down, we should have scheduled more big money games on the road. Losses are losses and the two games last year didn't wreck us. Hell, the UND and EMU game wrecked us more than those two and we had to pay UND.
The MWC is so pathetic that isn't like we have to take it easy to prepare for a tough conference slate.
Taking more money games over our decade rebuilding process might have made more sense than worrying about our OOC schedule especially considering the state of the MWC.
