You guys called this. Hats off to all of you. Wow, you out-played and out-coached us to the extreme. Brett Smith is a baller (although I said this all along). He picked apart a secondary that was great last year. We were so wrong about our team. Great game, Husker fans will eat crow. Congrats!
 
He is one of those players that isn't afraid to play anyone. It doesn't matter if he is playing Boise St., Nebraska, or Texas, he expects to win and never quits on his team.

He really isn't. Saw some fire in him that reminded me of Tebow.

(and yes, he's way smaller than Tebow, so I guess it evens out)

I really hate Nebraska but would love for them to win the Big10 and go undefeated now lol.

I think Wyo is going to absolutely destroy the next 2 teams on the schedule.
 
Well done. The new starters for Wyoming showed a lot more composure than the new guys for the Huskers. Good luck the rest of the year.
 
I'll show my face to eat crow as well. Wyoming out-coached and out-played Nebraska and deserved to win. Brett Smith toyed with our defense all night. We've clearly got some issues to sort out in Lincoln, but I think you guys are going to make some major noise in the MWC this year.

I re-watched the game this afternoon and I'm not as disappointed as I was last night. I really think if NU runs the middle on 3rd 5 and at the very least kicks a 35 yd field goal instead of calling that horrendous pass play, we're kicking off with 5 minutes left and a 40-21 lead; game over. Of course, if my aunt had a package she'd be my uncle. Hats off to the 'Pokes for never saying die and taking advantage of (almost) every opportunity. I would love to see a husker squad with that much heart. I hope WY is in for a special season and I hope the huskers took notice of what it means to play with passion. Great game guys, thanks for the hospitality and great conversation. You're good fans.

Thanks to you too! It was a good game, but man, it feels like we lost more than you won. Seriously, several points throughout the game we had chances, but could never capitalize. Or a couple of highly questionable calls as well (trick play and wasting 1:40 before the half come to mind) gave your team unneeded (and in some cases undeserved) confidence.

But we lost, and nothing we can do about it now. All we can do is focus on Idaho and take out our frustrations on them.

When you put it that way, it makes me even more excited for the season.
If Wyo really did lose it more than Nebraska won it, that means Wyo should have won. If Wyo should have won in Lincoln, then they are going to absolutely destroy teams in the MWC.
