Remember when SDSU was chasing Wyoming basketball?

There was a time when other teams, especially San Diego State, envied Wyoming and measured themselves by how close they could come to us.

In this story, San Diego State looks at their upset of us in the 2002 MWC tournament as the beginning of their current rise to promenance. http://www.nctimes.com/sports/colle...cle_6bc47808-da64-5cbd-bcfb-d4ff0411bb7c.html

And of course, there is the Brandenberg departure: http://www.laramieboomerang.com/articles/2012/03/25/sports/doc4f6e89d69754a467908614.txt

He would probably tell everyone that was the worst mistake he made in his coaching career (if he would admit it).

I'd like to see us play Kansas again. I remember watching them play in Phog Allen the year Kansas went on to the National Championship game. Could be a game to get us on the radar and get the crucial S.O.S.

It was also Roy Williams 400th win and the first meeting since December 1962 when Kansas won 75-57
