regarding texas state

they stink on offense. really bad. the starting qb has thrown for 366 yards... all season.

they are maybe the best defense we have faced thus far though...

they sound like us from the joe glenn era.

if they cant keep our offense off the field though, their defense will have all it can chew. look for Christensen to really apply the tempo.

Good defense? Maybe. Gave up 33 to Texas Tech, who should have a decent-good offense.
They gave up only 15 to a totally horrible southern miss in the first game of the season, then 3 points to Prarie View A&M.
PV A&M scores quite a bit but they are FCS, so it shouldn't be a surprise that Texas State held them to 3.

SoMiss scored 13 in Lincoln, the week after Wyo played Nebraska. Then was only held to 3 in Arkansas.

I really don't think they have that good of a defense, just played extremely 2 really bad teams, then got somewhat lit up by a decent Tech team.

I watched the texas tech game against tcu. tcu is a defensive team, and they got caught with their pants around their ankles against tech.

this will be an aggressive defense. but they, like many teams, have problems covering explosive spread offenses.

texas state is going to have some film to analyze... but knowing franchoine he will try and attack us.
