Recruiting Class Thus Far

I don't think you can call it "lost" or a "suprise" if there isn't at least a verbal. In fact I don't even put much weight in actual verbals anymore. A word and hand shake don't mean what they used too, so until all ther recruits actually fax in their signed letters anything can change. That being said I think this recruiting class is at least as good or better than I expected given the short recruiting window DC had.

Well, you are right about the hand shake not meaning what it used too, and it was proven again. There were 3 kids that the staff expected to sign on a couple of weeks ago, that dropped completely off the radar. Not that this makes the class a failure or anything, just not where it was thought to be...and not by lame-ass rivals, or scout, but by the coaching staff.

Interesting also, that coach Dave said there were "no more scholarships" available to give out this year.
 
McP, did you attend the press conf. yesterday? If so, anything interesting come out of it or any good info?

I didn't go, but watched part of it. Nothing exciting, and nothing earth shattering. Obviously the personality of this staff is much different than the personality than the last...that actually can go without saying.

I've heard the new staff is going to beat on these kids like the Glenn staff never did. Think that's accurate?
