Recruited WR's

I was looking at the roster and noticed that we really haven't added too many scholarship WR's to the roster. Who is suppose to fill in for Leonard and Bolger? DC's first class had Tooley(potential), McCneil(playing making some catches) and Ali Moli(is he playing next year?). DC's second class had Darren White(probably redshirt and a DB?), CJ Morgan(redshirt likely), Drew Martinez(redshirt?), Mazi, Lester and Aiken (very late addition walkon). Any of these guys going to be the game breaker WR's that we need for the spread? I'm not saying none of these guys aren't, but any going to replace Leonard? Any of them look to have potential to be great? I know the JC's only have one more year after this one, but next year doesn't look too much better unless McNeil as a JR and some of the redshirt FR breakout.

Aiken got some looks last week and dropped a couple, but he's got some nice potential, IMO. Looks fast.

Herron is a hybrid wr rb and I think he can become a big part of the offense. Wasn't CJ Morgan injured pretty bad in the Narcisse trajedy? Is Brandon Miller a scholarship WR? I know he has seen time at rb as well. I think Sullivan can earn a scholarship next year, he is a big wr( he broke his leg this fall). I was also hoping we would see tj smith this year but I don't think he has seen the playing field at all.

Herron, in the limited stuff I've seen of him, looks like a real player.. he could be something special.

I could honestly compare Herron to Byu's Di Luigi. Herrons a little smaller, but way faster. Look for Herron to have numbers like Diluigi's this year. 5-600 rushing yards and 4-500 recieving. I really think he'll eventually be helping us in our run and passing game more and more.

That is why I don't understand why don't throw in a sreen or two, our oline is terrible anyways, it would make the D a little more honest and they guy is good in open space. Of course I don't know why we have never ran screens before even with DMO.

Yeah, screen would be awesome! When the O-line lets the defenders through for a screen, it wouldn't be any different than any of the other play, except we would be set up for protection breakdown! :P

I have to say that I haven't seen too much quit in any of the players. They are just slow starters. I would like to see us start a game guns o blazin. We start fast and I think some of these games turn out better.

I think Herron the real deal and I have high hopes for Aiken. I'm just not sure we have 'the guy' or 'the guys' at WR for next season unless there is some major recruit going to play as a Freshman. Heck, if Aiken picks up the system, he's only got next year to play. I see a lot of WR's on roster, but they are either leftover glenn recruits or walkons. DC has basically only signed 4 WR's each of his years. I do see 9 true freshman listed at WR, 2 redshirt freshman(TJ Smith and Brandon Miller, Miller is listed at #2 WR behind Mazi). Chris McNeil and transfer Chris Fenlon are the only sophomores if Tooley is gone.

Maybe there are a few gems in those 9 freshman that are all probably redshirting. It would be nice to be able to start redshirting freshmen instead of throwing them into the fire. Knowing what we know now, it would have been nice to redshirt Nehemie. I do have faith in Coach and since so many of his Freshman have started, some of his first redshirts have started this year, I wouldn't be surprise to see even more of this years redshirts starting next year.
