This poor kid is terrible,. The whole offense is limited because he cannot complete a pass. If the pokes are gonna be terrible, you might as well be terrible with a freshman quarterback just put the young kid in.
Literally never turns his headDoesn’t look like he goes through reads often. Just stares down his target.
He doesn’t have it. Time to move on.
But Sawvel is too stubborn or stupid to make a change.Doesn’t look like he goes through reads often. Just stares down his target.

I questioned anointing him right away. I’m on record questioning the decision. Svboda BLOWSCrazy. When you questioned him in the off-season, well....
I'm sure some know who I'm talking to. Damn I wish we were wrong.I questioned anointing him right away. I’m on record questioning the decision. Svboda BLOWS
This isSawvell keeps talking about how good Svaboda looks in practice. Second coming of Josh Allen. I bet that is true, problem is the poor kid is a vampire. Lights come on and he turns to dust.
Have seen this with lots of players over the years in football and basketball. They look amazing in practice and scrimmages and then fall apart once the fans are in the stands and the scoreboard matters.
The kid is an athlete, but he is not a quarterback. And he’s definitely not a gamer. Time to give Anderson a chance. Maybe he doesn’t look as good as Evan in practice but who knows, maybe Sawvell just might be surprised to see how he responds in an actual game situation.
What’s the worst that can happen trying this change? We lose?
According to Sawvel, Svoboda is still the guy that gives us the best chance to win.Its still unimaginable to me that after 3 full games of complete ineptitude, that the coach hasn't at least trotted out someone else for just a series to see what he's got. And I' talking about when the game is still (relatively) in question, not down 48 on the road with2 minutes left.
Peasley was in an NFL training camp and played pretty well there. It’s not that other teams have good QBs but Wyoming just doesn’t; it’s that we have a current scheme that doesn’t set up any QB for success. The old Bohl scheme similarly wasn’t set up for a lot of passing success but was setup to keep games close and give the Pokes a chance in most games. It's really pretty shocking how hard it's been to field a serviceable, let alone good, QB
Yes, at Wyoming it is. Puzzling. It took in injury for Josh Allen to get his shot. It took graduation for Chambers to get his shot. Rinse & Repeat. It's really pretty shocking how hard it's been to field a serviceable, let alone good, QB
