UW comes out intense on D, nervous for the first few possessions on O, then awakes for a slaughter:

I think SUU comes out firing long balls trying to hit a big ball, WYO picks off a few of them, then our offense becomes to much to handle and they crumble going against a rabid, quick, team. Our offense will stall on our first couple of drives esecially in the red zone before DC lights a fire under there ass and gets everybody motivated. Pokes by 24

Last time SUU came to Missoula they came out firing the football downfield.. this time will likely be no different.

SUU's defense isn't that impressive. Easily the weakest defense we will face this year. We sure as hell better put at least 30 on them. I'll say we get 31.

On the other hand, SUU's offense is pretty damn good and can be dangerous if they get momentum. I'm still not convinced our secondary is as good as so many people think in coverage. Yeah, they tackle well and provide phenomonal run support, but they are prone to being beat deep in man and often are slightly out of position when in zone coverage. I'll say SUU gets 21.

So..........31-21 Pokes.
 
This is always difficult for the first game of the season, since you never know how teams will come out. I think the Pokes will look a bit sluggish at first, then get it untracked. I do agree that SUU will likely throw deep a lot, but our secondary should be up to the task.
