Pray For Ethan

Slow Hand

Well-known member
For those of you that have not heard, Ethan Wood's dad and mom were killed in a tragic airplane crash. This is a devastating blow for a young man in the middle of fall camp. I hope we all on this board can come together and say a prayer or two for him.

There really are no words to offer other than sincere condolences and prayers to Ethan and his family.

Not good at all. My heartfelt prayers go out to him. Went through a similar deal while i was in college. During the tail end of wrestling season my single mother tragically passed away. Never easy no matter the circumstances. Again my prayers for you bud.

My thoughts are with Ethan and his family. Hang in there buddy!

Also having lost a parent in a tragic accident while I was in college, I can say that not a day that goes by without thinking about that day and missing my dad. What helped me keep going in college was my friends, roommates and other students that I didn't even know getting me to go out for dinner/movies/ice cream/beer, sending me helpful study materials, etc.. I am absolutely sure that his teammates will rally behind him and be there for him.

Thoughts and prayers to Ethan. I simply cannot imagine going through this kind of loss.

Here's to a great set of young men rallying behind a teammate, together with the loyal fans of Poke Nation.

Just so everyone knows what kind of coach we have now, Coach Bohl personally drove him home to be with his family. My heart aches for this young man. I hope his teammates and his friends rally around him and help support him through this terrible time.

Good on Bohl, but man, this has got to be horrible for Ethan. Getting ready for the season opener of football, school about to start up, and then gets this kind of news? My deepest sympathies to him.

That's the kind of person I want coaching this team. Sounds like he's there for the kids, no matter what they need.

Bohl shows what kind of person he is, thank you for sharing! This is the kind of person that I like leading the Cowboys.

My heart aches for Ethan.

Just echo what has already been said. I can't even begin to imagine.

There is more to life than football, and this is a reminder of that.

Such a sad thing for a young man to have to endure. My heart goes out.

Bohl likes to joke that he doesn't know the punter's or kicker's name. But, we all know now that he knows them and takes care of them.

Such a sad deal, I made that drive w a family member for a college roommate after he died, that was awesome of Craig, classy move. RIP.

Been a rough day with all of this, still, got to remember- always turn your face to the sun and live each day with courage. Thoughts and strength to Ethan and his family...
