Prattling Purveyors of Positivity

We already have the "negativism" thread....what are some positive things that we can focus on? Off the top of my head:

1. The classic, it could be worse. Tulsa almost got out of Laramie with the win...but they didn't. The pokes rose up and got the victory.

2. Looking over the conference...it's not like there are a bunch of top 50 teams to contend with in the MWC...maybe we fit?

3. I was prepared to be un-impressed by any of the new players this season..but, particularly on defense, there are some dudes out there.

What else?

THE POKES SHOWED A LOT OF GRIT AND HEART AGAINST TULSA TO TAKE BACK THAT GAME DOWN 10 TO START THE 4TH QUARTER.
WHILE THE FIRST 3 QUARTERS OF UNC WERE FLAT OUT BORING, THE COWBOYS ALWAYS FELT IN COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE GAME. THAT HASN'T BEEN THE CASE IN RECENT FCS GAMES (WOFFORD AND MONTANA ST).

2. Looking over the conference...it's not like there are a bunch of top 50 teams to contend with in the MWC...maybe we fit?
IT'S NOT LIKE THERE ARE A BUNCH OF TOP 90 TEAMS (3 ACCORDING TO ESPN FPI) TO CONTEND WITH IN THE MWC.

MAYBE MORE DEPTH THAT WE INITITALLY THOUGHT, CERTAINLY SOME YOUNG PLAYERS TO BE EXCITED ABOUT.

Quarterback playing is looking up. If Titus is healthy tomorrow, we may just give them a game!

Sitting in the Rochelle Gateway Center waiting for the Pokes to meander through before we beat AFA. We have a lot to be proud of. This is a magnificent facility, as is the HAPC and indoor practice facility. I’ll always have a special place for the War as well, but UW has some great facilities on campus. Something to be proud of for sure.
