Post season awards -- Predictions

There's still a lot of football to be played across the country, but Wyoming football has finished their season. Which Pokes do you think are deserving of all-MW honors? With only 2 conference wins, I don't expect too many names on any postseason awards list but we have a few guys that are deserving. Hill, Yarbrough, Wingard, Roullier.

Hill may be a handful of TD's short of player of the year, but it's a toss up between 1st and 2nd team, IMO.

Yarbrough and Roullier have previously been honored, so they're likely to find themselves on some list as well.

Wingard has arguably been our best player on defense (which isn't saying much for a 2-10 team) have there been any other freshmen in the conference that have had as big an impact as him?

You never know, but since Eddie has been 1st team the past two years, I think he stays there. Roullier deserves it and is the best guard in the conference, but will probably get shafted....2nd team. Hill should be first, but again who knows. I think he makes 1st team. Wingard should make first team, but will either be 2nd or HM. Gentry and Maulhardt should both be HM. Not sure about anyone else.

I think our record will hold these kids back from getting the recognition they deserve. With Gentry being hurt, it's hard to see him anything above HM. If we had a better record, things would look different. Adams fell to 3rd team last year, I think mostly due to a bad stretch that led us to a 5th place finish instead of top 2 or 3.
