Polasek a Possibility for KSU OC

The other candidates appear to be Colin Klein and Matt Wells.

Klein was really fun to watch as a QB for Kansas State years ago. He was a dual threat guy that put up big stats. He gets a 3 week audition for the job as he is the interim coordinator as KSU prepares for its bowl game.

Wells was Texas Tech's and USU's former head coach. He comes with a Big 12 pedigree.

Polasek was Klieman's Offesnive Coordinator for 3 National Championships at NDSU so obviously the familiarity is there. I struggle to gauge Polasek's performance at Wyoming this past year. Some games he seemed to have a great gameplan (USU) and others left me thinking WTF (UNM). It is also questionable to me why it took so long to realize that Levi Williams gives the team a better chance to win than Sean Chambers when you have guys like Neyor and Cobbs; however, I am sure that Bohl was a big impetus in the starting QB picture.

Overall - I'm not sure what a Polasek departure would mean for Wyoming. Personally, I hope he stays and we get to see him next year and see what he can do with a full year of preparing for a Levi Williams led offense. If the offense struggles next year, then that could be the end of the Bohl era regardless. The optimism in me thinks that the offense could be pretty good next year if it stays intact and if the play calling keeps the defense guessing like it did against USU.

I'm in total agreement. Until the last few weeks, it really seemed like we were as good as our QB play. If they completed 50-60% and didn't have 2 or 3 turnovers, we moved the ball really well. Then, the Hawaii game happened. In general, I thought his play calling was vastly better than Vigen's.
