Top shelf all the way imo, and when compared to the other front range college football broadcast teams -- the Pokes crew finishes in first place.

Dave Walsh is terrific with the game call and stays with the play very nicely, Kevin McKinney fills in the blanks with commentary, and what I love about Kevin is that he pulls no punches and will be critical of Wyoming every now and then -- and Reece Monaco has done a real nice job of reporting from the field.

All in all we're fortunate to have one of the high caliber college football broadcasting teams on the division 1 level.
 
There are times you rub me the wrong way with your caustic way's, But I agree Dave is the BOMB!!!!! I hear his voice and He brings me home!
 
Finally, ONE thing we all agree on. Dave Walsh.

Dave and Kevin are a GREAT broadcast team. I really liked Welniak as the sideline reporter, but Monaco has stepped in nicely.
 
Dave and Kevin are awesome, and I loved listening to them when I was in the region.

Also, why must you always be yelling at me? My ears hurt!

Brown and Gold bias, but there's not a sweeter sound than "the score ohhhh the score" when Dave gives us his "word's eye view". I love DW with all I am, i like to listen to other play by players, and he's the Bomb, like stated b4. Man it's hard to believe he's been with us 29 years, I really don't remember much about Larry Birleffi as a kid, but i remember my folks chatting about him how he was forgetfull towards the end. I remember when Dave and George Kay were together as well, Dave and Kevin are a perfect fit, although at times I wanna reach thru the radio and choke KM at times. Keep up the awesome work Dave and Kevin and GO COWBOYS!!!!
 
Oh yeah and knowing Reece personally, he's the fit for the next 20-25 years, keep up your awesome work too!!!!

I miss the Mtn and everything about it good and bad. They would have been fine if they would have hit more carriers quicker instead of being so lackadaisical about it. It's just like now Pac games are on the pac network the Mtn was missing online streaming and other things as well.

But I miss it!
 
I miss the Mtn badly.

It seemed there were two main camps (pro and con) for that channel. The pro crowd wanted to watch the games...on a Saturday. The cons worried about a lack of national exposure.

We now have neither.

RIP Mtn, I loved you man!

Couldn't agree more I miss the mtn

Did you know that Chuck Norris, Mitch Unrein, and John Fletcher wear "Dave & Kevin T-Shirts?

We are very lucky to have Dave & Kevin they are fantastic and work great together. Once I was traveling through Colorado during the border war and had to listen to the CSU announcers. I couldn't listen to the play by play guy he was horrible. Not the commentary on the game but the actual play by play descriptions were horrible.

On a side note if Dave or Kevin ever decides to retire which I hope they never do can I have their job?
 
I think the biggest issue with the Mtn was the announcers they chose seemed to be fans of specific teams as well. So the announcing was very bias. It made for a messy game at times and some of the announcers were flat awful but ya I'd love to have it back.

Imagine Dave & Kevin announcing on the Mtn that would have been pretty damn awesome.

Joe Glenn was good, and so was Marty Fletcher and Bill Doleman. TC was a hack job though.

IMO the people always in Studio would have been better live game announcers then who they typically chose.
