As disappointing this season has been, the Poke football program is still showing signs of trending upward.
2 wins. Vic's last year

4 wins
7 wins (beat UCLA in bowl game)
4 wins (after starting 4-1)
6 wins (4 heartbreakers by a TD or less to Virginia, Boise St, AFA, Syracuse, but got blown out by TCU & BYU)
5 wins (including TCU and Virginia, but blown out against NM, Utah (50-0 bird game), BYU)
4 wins (beat Tennessee and SDSU, but point margin in losses were a staggering 27 per game..ouch) Joe's last year
Team trending towards 4 wins per year (11 wins in first 2 years, 10 in the next 2 years, 9 in the next 2 years)
7 wins (Bowl win, wins were close, the losses were bad, killer schedule, but it was still a step in right direction.)
3 wins (yuck, but at least we recruited Brett Smith that season!!!)
8 wins (DC wins MWC coach of the year over Peterson and Patterson..team seems headed for a breakout year)
4 or 5 wins (concussion derails a season that could have been a nice one.)
Team trending upwards (10 wins first 2 season2, 11/12 wins next 2 seasons) If the trend continues we could have....
9 wins
6 wins
10 wins
7 wins
11 wins
8 wins
12 wins
9 wins
13 wins
10 wins
14 wins (yes we go undefeated, play 13 reg season games because of a road trip to hawaii, and win a bowl game)
11 wins
15 wins ( yes we win the National Championship with a plus 1 game)
haha, ok, back to current point I was trying to make...... this team is still trending in the right direction and I feel good about the future, we have lots of red-shirts that are studs and could have produced this year and will be a year studlier down the road.... Yeah we have stuff to work on but, I still think the future of UW football looks bright!
