this is a list of fact why we need a new AD
1 firing steve mcclain
2 hiring Heath schroyer
3 giving a contract extension to Heath schroyer
4 not firing him after 3 years
5 Having part of the AA roped during schroyer last year, due to bad attendance
6 not giving fans paper bags to put over there heads when Heath schroyer was the coach
7 not making the men's NIT since he has been the AD
8 not making the NCAA tourment in men's basketball since he has been the AD
9 cowboy basketball has not had a winning season in mountain west play since he has been the AD
10 poor attendance in men's basketball
11 bad basketball scheduleing
12 lowering exceptions of the fan base, so when a program has a okay season, we act like everthing is great
12 wasting money on different uniforms combinations in football, so he can be like oregon
13 not winning mountain west championships since he has been the AD
14 average facilities with his upgrades
15 firing the track coach, then he hires a new coach that will also take over for the current cross country coach, but the current cross country coach never new he was losing his job. That was a very classy act by Mr Tom burman
16 some of us have to pay full price for season tickets, and other people get them for a big discount.

I bought these and I will say that I think it is a great marketing ploy. They now have so many more names on their season ticket list to hit up for full price next year. If even 1/4 of those that bought the $95 tickets this year buy at full price next year then this promotion worked which is what he is trying to do. Season ticket prices should be based on seat location anyway and the seats of the $95 ticket are not the great ones.

There are many ways to promote a brand, look at what MLB, NFL, NBA or NASCAR does to fill the seats. I use to see it first hand when I worked in racing and this undoubtedly will be a brilliant plan if it works as he hopes if not then he is a goat but we will have to wait a year and see.

#6 is my favorite.

As to the rest of it, I do see major improvement in the facilities. I think we have very good coaches in both sports now. Also, Bryan Berryhill is a major upgrade as the track and cross country coach.

Kind of an interesting post though. It brought back all my bad feelings about Heath.

Oh wait neither stop bitching! Burman isn't perfect but overall in all athletic programs he has done a good job.

3/4 of the stuff you are complaining about is with Men's Basketball and so far I think we would all agree he hired the right guy the second time.

I guess you would like to get someone here with no knowledge of our traditions so they can change the school colors like Moon did?

This thread has little to do with overreation monday. The OP has started about 6 threads (both before and after saturday's game) stating that the AD should be fired. The OP has never posted anything else other than his distaste for the WY AD.

Both of you STFU. I worked on the new site off and on all weekend.. became far more work than I thought, but it's going to be so worth it. The amount of historical data that'll be available on this site will trump anything UWs site has on it, sans the media guide PDF. I wish I could populate more data into it but I'm having trouble finding info back to 2000.

I believe it was really Pres. Dubois who changed the school colors, not AD Moon! However, if it makes you feel better blaming it on Moon...

Kind of odd that you would point that out since it was Moon who hired the "right guy" the first time. As I have said before, think that the "right guy" felt somewhat guilty over the way he left and wanted to return.
