I like it Wick!

Still though, that's a hell of a snub by Steele, to put Wick at 4th team and Hill not even mentioned.

Phil Steele is shockingly accurate with his predictions on standings.

Preseason teams? Not so much. He had Grayson ranked 4th-team preseason last year. He had Fresno RB Josh Quezada on 1st team. Quezada ended up not even being the best RB on his own team. Steele's standings predictions? I'll be curious to see those. His preseason teams? Eh, won't lose sleep over that.

Wick and Hill will go as the O line goes. Maybe he is taking that into consideration?

Still bizarre. The SJSU RB? The Boise RB they listed is very talented, but isn't even projected to start.

I'll say this...if neither Wick/Hill are worthy of Top 6 MW RB status by the end of 2015, the team will have lost 10+ games.

Oh, I agree. I find it strange that Wick/Hill are so far down. Just shows you that UW football still has zero respect. The only way to gain that respect is to win some freakin games.

If Wick played at BSU and Hill played at SDSU, they would be 1-2; top 3 for both at worst.

I get that they wouldn't put 2 backs from the same team on the list, but omitting both is borderline ignorant. They were both among the best backs last year and they did it with an O-line learning a new system.

I don't get it.

The preseason magazines aren't too kind to Wyoming. I read Sporting News while at the store last week. They listed Bohl as the most overrated individual in the MW. Like djm19 said, don't expect respect to be handed to Wyo...these guys are going to have a earn it.

There aren't even 3 backs in the conference better than Wick or Hill.

Didn't SDSU's Pumphrey have almost 1,900 yards and 20 Tds last year? And FSU's Waller had almost 1,400 and 11 Tds. UNM's Pressley was pretty good too; almost 1,100 yards and 12 Tds.
The only one I'd argue with was AFA's Owens; barely hit 1,000 in 13 games and only had 5 Tds.

Just read Steele's section on the MW. He has Wyoming finishing 6th in the Mountain Division, stating that the turnover on defense is catastrophic, but Bohl alone gives Wyo fans hope of a run at 6-6.
