Peasley Out?

What would be the reason for this? Injury? Behavioral consequences? Preservation for the rest of the season?

Anybody have any insight?
 
I personally think he suffered a heck of a concussion against Texas Tech. Rumors of shoulder injury though. We will see in a few hours.
 
Yikes - where are you catching these rumors? The cowboy news sites aren't showing anything. I don't mess around with the cesspool formerly known as twitter or those other sites.
 
Would have been nice to get svoboda some passing reps last week, but no, Bohl ran it like 12 times in a row

Yeah I'm sure glad the coaches have not given Svoboda a single passing attempt. I'm sure he will be super accurate and composed on this game if this is does end up being his first game with pass attempts, compared to the 4th quarter of last game when we had a 3 score lead
 
If it turns out to be true that Peasley is injured, I wonder then if the coaches did actually decide to put Svoboda in at the start of the 4th quarter last game, or if they were forced to because of noticing an injury at that point.

I wonder if the coaches actually wanted Peasley in last game another drive or two

Man, I was shocked how early was pulled. Not Bohls style at all. Wouldn’t be surprised if an injury is why. Makes sense.
 
This is a very bizarre situation. If this was an injury that happened during the Portland State game, why haven't we heard anything about this until the night before today's game? Bohl typically does a quick injury review at his Monday press conference, and unless I missed it, there was no mention of anything about Peasley. UW also released an updated depth charge on Monday, September 11 and Peasley was listed as the starter.

My guess is that it is going to be a game time decision. The coaches probably want Peasley to sit out and Peasley probably wants to play. I wouldn't be surprised if they put him through pre-game drills and see how he is performing/feeling and make a final call at that time.
 
According to Draft Kings Peasely injured his shoulder last week and was seen icing it on the bench. But, they said he should be good to go against Texas
