Passing game....

I don't get it. I just don't understand how we cannot have a decent passing game. We run the ball extremely well, but yet our play action stuff still sucks. We get no separation from our receivers, our routes seem predictable, our qb is average at best. I dont know how or why Bohl cannot address this issue with any effectiveness. If you have to hire a consultant or some sort of passing game coordinator, do it. Every game it is the same thing. I give props to our Oline, to be able to run the ball like this knowing that teams stack the box is impressive. Pokes will squeak by the rams, but lose to Boise and Fresno. 7-5, not bad I guess.

And yet Peasley has the same amount of passing touchdowns as Cordiero at SJSU, tying the conference lead. Weird year. Fun team. Awful conference. Peasley is as serviceable as any other QB in the conference minus Haener and Cordiero. If there was a year to win a conference with just a running game this would be it.

I think yesterday pass game would have been way better if Andrew throw the ball a little better. Those two picks the WR was open and the first play he had the guy but it didn't work.
Andrew seems to be at his best if they start off with some quick slants and easy passes first.

Same crap, different year with the passing game

Couple things based on observation:

1. Everything is run-run-run, so the better receivers don't want to come to Wyoming.(and when they do come, we don't have a QB to throw them the ball) It's also probably harder to get into a rhythm passing the ball.

2. The offense, from what I read, is highly advanced for college (part of the reason why Bohl QBs translate well to college) - but since it is advanced, it is harder to master with the time college players have for practice

I would have loved to have seen Peasley throw to Neyor
