I like the variety for the same reason the recruits seem to....it just feels like big time college football. I like that Nike is continuing to make tweaks to our uniforms because I think it will help in recruiting.
I still like the Brown Uniforms with the gold & white barbwire designed then shown on this forum before. Maybe we can get the barbwire uniforms in the near future, just because I think it screams badass.

Seriously, from the stands or even watching on tv, you won't even be able to see the Cowboy logo. Which is a shame. They should've done just an all brown with no logo. :thumbdown:

Love the brown helmets as an alt design. I loved the matte helmet look when they came out for other teams last year. Never thought I would see them here. I also really like the brown on brown scheme. Its more subtle look and very cool. Nothing will ever replace the traditional helmet but it is fun to have something new for a game or two. It also really tells recruits that we are big time football to have the latest nike trends.
I have always been an all white road jersey fan but the brown helmet, white jersey, brown pants are my favorite combo.

I have a few thoughts:
Brown decals on the brown helmet is stupid. I dig the brown helmet, but put a contrasting logo on it.
Take the COWBOYS wordmark off the brown pants and put a stripe on them like the white and gold pants.
If you're going to redesign the away jersey why not redesign the home jersey to use the same template?
The "flywire" on the shoulders of the white and gold jerseys is retarded. Other than that I think the new whites look sharp.

Change is good. Keeps things buzzing these days. I don't like #60 in the white / yellow air balloon, but the others are decent to great.
Beginning in August, UW will be asking fans to vote on a combo for the Weber State game (home option that is). Shall be interesting to see how many stay traditional (Gold Pants / Brown Jersey / White Lid).

Not on my head it wouldn't. Seriously, I've had to long abandon non-adjustable hats because they either don't fit, or cut off the circulation. And the hats I do have are adjusted almost to the very edge of the strap/velcro. Kind of sucks sometimes.laxwyo said:
