This guy makes Luke's incident seem like child's play. Hope this guy doesn't see daylight for awhile. Funny how my neighbors and such were quick to pounce on me for the Luke story, but they have crawled in a hole when it is one of their own. Love me some BYU and Utah fans.

Utah player Niasi Leota arrested, allegedly tried to electrocute wife in front of children,

Leota was charged with three felonies and four misdemeanors in a domestic assault incident that involved children.

Utah defensive tackle Niasi Leota has been dismissed from the football team after being charged with three felonies and four misdemeanors on Wednesday for attacking his wife and threatening to kill her in front of their children, according to the Desert News.

The allegations against Leota are not pretty. Leota threatened and attempted to kill his wife in numerous ways, the details of which are quite graphic:
Leota became angry and punched his wife in the head and face, then told her to go into the bathroom to clean up the blood, charges filed in 3rd District Court state.
While she was in the bathroom, the 6-foot 4-inch, 278-pound man hit her in the head with a curling iron, then wrapped the iron's cords around his hands and tried to strangle her, the charging documents state. He then allegedly ripped a towel bar from the wall, hit her in the head with it and tried to stab her in the throat with the broken end.
Leota also "attempted to fill the bathtub with water to electrocute the victim with the curling iron," a Salt Lake County Jail report states.

A friend arrived with the couple's other two children, and Leota's wife managed to run outside and into the car, where she locked the doors. That's when police arrived.

Leota was already on suspension from Utah's football team and was dismissed from the program shortly after being charged. He appeared in 10 games last season and made only six tackles.

Yeah Lukes is nothing compared to this. Luke had a poor lapse in judgement for 1 second. This guy acted like the prisoner he is bound to be. Multiple times trying to kill her WTF

My question is how the hell does it take so long for a DEFENSIVE END to kill a woman?
