NHL- Colorado Avs. Even before they were good enough to even try for the Stanley.
I'm very curious about this statement... I was a Nordiques fan long before (well, since about 1992) I moved across the Atlantic Ocean, and in their last season in Quebec, they were pretty much good enough to go after the Cup... so when they moved to Denver, they were definitely already there. Adding in Roy around mid-season was the final part that was required, and the team got the championship in the first season in their new location.
So my question is, were you a fan of the Nordiques as well?
Anyway, apart from the Avs, I've been a Chargers fan ever since they picked up Malcom Floyd. I didn't care about the NFL before that, and just latched on to him.
Can't stand basketball at any level. It just doesn't entertain me at all, and I always get extremely annoyed with the "last" 2 minutes that can easily go on for half an hour.
For MLB I don't really care all that much, but I do enjoy going to the occasional ball game for the atmosphere.
I can't stand pro soccer, even though I play soccer 1-2 times a week year round. I still want to go see Gunners at Emirates one day, though. I guess I'd settle for watching any Premier League game at Old Trafford or Wembley as well.
