OT: NFL Playoffs

Wildcard games kickoff on Saturday.......any predictions?

Seattle vs. Denver in the Super Bowl is the Vegas favorite......but rarely do BOTH favorites make the Super Bowl. I think one gets there, not sure about the other.

NFC Championship: Seattle vs. San Francisco
AFC Championship: New England vs. Denver

Super Bowl: Denver vs. San Francisco

I'm hoping my Seahawks make it, but the offense is struggling at the worst possible time. I'm hoping I'm wrong and its 2005 all over again (#1 seed and 13-3)....you know, minus the Super Bowl loss.

NFC championship: Seattle vs. Carolina
AFC Championship: New England vs. Denver
Super Bowl: Carolina vs. New England

But for this weekend... Eagles over Saints because the Saints aren't the same on the road. San Fransico over Green Bay. Colts over Chiefs and Bengals over Chargers.

1st round:
AFC: Cincy beats SD and Indy beats KC
NFC: Philly beats New Orleans and Green Bay beats SF

2nd round:
AFC: Denver beats Indy and Cincy upsets New England
NFC: Seattle beats GB and Philly beats Carolina

Championship week:
AFC: Denver beats Cincy
NFC: Seattle beats Philly

SuperBowl:
Denver beats Seattle

San Francisco and New England go down in their first crack at it.....I like it. :D There are usually 1-2 shocks in the playoffs every year.

My picks....This weekend...

AFC: Cincinnati & Indianapolis will win.
NFC: Phily beats New Orleans since the Saints can't do squat on the road & Green Bay beats Niners

Super Bowl: Seattle vs. New England

I'm not as confident in Philly as everyone else is. I think Brees will get it done.

I don't think the Green Bay Packers are all that good, but I DO think the Green Bay Aaron Rodgers are pretty damn good. That's why they beat SF, plus it's in GB.

And New England, they just aren't the same team without Gronk.
All the New England fans can cry all they want about Brady winning 12 games without any WRs and how tough they are, but a good amount of those wins were BARELY wins, and against a team with a REALLY good defense like Cincy, I don't think they will be able to pull it out.
Assuming Andy Dalton doesn't throw 10 picks.

I don't think the Saints can pull it off in Philly, and everyone knows why. It's on the road and it's outside.
What's the weather supposed to be like in Philly on Saturday night? If it's bad, expect LaMichael James...eerrrrrr...uhhh...Kenjan Barner...err uhh...DeAnthony Thomas...err uhh...LeSean McCoy to run for 200 plus yards!

I'll take my chances with Brady and Belichick at home during a playoff game. Cincy may have beat us earlier in the season at their house, but I don't see them beating us again. I don't trust Andy Dalton in the playoffs. So until he proves me wrong I'm sticking with my pats :thumb:

I will go with
AFC Denver over New England
NFC Seattle over Philly
Super Bowl Denver over Philly
I had to go with one shock so I went with Philly being that team. I actually think it will be Denver and Seattle, but hey why not have some fun lol.

I'd say the shocker here is that you have Seattle beating Philly in the NFC championship but still have Philly playing in the SuperBowl ;)

I hate to break it to you donkeys fans, but Manning is bad in the playoffs (9-11, 8 times one and done) and trash in weather under 32 degrees (3-9). Put those together and you've got a bad combination.

Wild Card Round:
Kansas City over Indianapolis
Philadelphia over New Orleans
Cincinnati over San Diego
San Francisco over Green Bay

Divisional Round:
Kansas City over Denver
Cincinnati over New England
Seattle over San Francisco
Carolina over Philadelphia

Championship Round:
Cincinnati over Kansas City
Seattle over Carolina

Super Bowl:
Seattle over Cincinnati

Not sure if you can put all the blame on Peyton though. The defense definitly deserves criticism.

I think that when Peyton put and company put up over 50 points in 10 degree weather a few weeks back he said something like "He can shove it where the sun don't shine" in reference to him not being good in the cold weather.

Manning seems to have arrived at that same point in his career that John Elway did...where he's either going to bash his critics down for good and end his career winning 1-3 Super Bowls, or he'll struggle in the postseason and leave people wondering if he's a regular season wonder but a postseason choke-artist. I have a hard time seeing the Broncos not make the Super Bowl, but damn....how many times has that been said of a Manning team in his career? Double-digits?

How boring.
Looks like a good time for married women to have their foreign boyfriends come over and XXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXX!

Denver beats the Birds and I freak out because Manning retires after the game just like Elway did

Peyton will want to match Brady first. He will do back to backs THEN retire.
;)
