OT: National Champ. Who wins?

Wick had a great game vs. Oregon. Doesn't look quite as good after last night. Elliott was running through some of the biggest holes I've seen all season. Oregon's DL was completely dominated, and they're fortunate the turnover margin was only 4-1 or this could have been a historic beat down.

Considering how the Ducks receivers couldn't even catch a cold, a certain guy who couldn't stay away from pot for just a little bit longer probably feels stupid now. Not saying that he would've completely changed the game, but a few more caught passes and the Ducks defense may not have rolled over and died the way they did in the fourth.
Oregon lost by 22 points despite having a +4 turnover ratio until Mariota's purposeless game-ending INT. +4! UO was flogged right in the rear. Period. No one, two, three, etc. players could have saved them from what Ohio State was going to do that defense.

You seriously don't think the game would have looked different with a few more extended drives for Oregon? Maybe touchdowns instead of those field goals? Despite those, it was a 1 point game until the very end of the third quarter. Oregon was 2/12 on third downs and 0/2 on fourth. I'd say that played a bigger role in them losing the game than their defense being bad - especially with how much time the defense spent on the field as a result.
