OT: CHILD LOCKED IN CAGE OUTSIDE OF LARAMIE

I realize this has nothing to do with football but these people need to be locked in a cage or worse the rest of their lives:

Hard not to feel that way. Having a 5yr old at home.....I couldn't imagine. He has a breakdown if there isn't frosting on his toaster strudel! That poor kid is going to need all kinds of help.

Sickening. This child may need a lot of help. I would like to believe that no parents could be so heartless and cruel to a child, but it appears that may not be the case.
 
I hope some good people in Laramie will take this kid in and give him the love that he really needs. I have a 7 year old boy and he will be coming with me to the MSU game. I am horrified to think what this poor child went through. Lock those people up for life.
 
Agree with BJC. The best response would be to put the parents in a cage for awhile. Let 'em see what it's like. Treat them the same way they treated the child. Also read where the neighbors were afraid of the guy? Oh puh...leeze! Are common sense and compassion dead?

neighbors knew?.....they should be charged as well
 
This incident has bothered me greatly - I thought about this a great deal last night. From what I read/heard, there were several reports to law enforcement agencies leading up to yesterday's events. It kind of sounds like the sheriff's dept. didn't investigate or take these reports serious enough. Neither of these parents are going to get a warm welcome in prison.
 
Sounds like, A Child Called It. Terrible book. Had to read it for my psych classes. Young kids are usually resilient, hopefully he bounces back from this horrible thing in his life with no shame, kind of like the author of the book.
I have a five year old, I couldn't imagine doing something like that to him.

realize you have to follow procedure but........so they received many reports even from the school.........again I don't know all the facts but it seems like law enforcement and CPS have some explaining to do.

Probably too busy ticketing us "greenies" to look into those reports.

Why in the Hell doesn't law enforcement take shit like this seriously???
