Injuries at the nose tackle position for the 49ers are giving Purcell a great opportunity. The good news is he played 50 snaps against the Ravens on Thursday. The bad news is he looked pretty bad. He was consistently blown off the ball as the Ravens ran for 237 yards in the game.
