Not for the faint at heart.

Best case scenario 3-9? He's way off on that one. If the donkeys think we're going to roll over and let them stomp us they've got another thing coming. There was a CSU team that thought the same thing in the last week of November last year. Anyone remember how that one turned out?

If I ever meet this guy in real life, I'll be obliged to kick him in the balls, if he doesn't have any, I'll still aim for the crotch area.

3-9? Massive blowout in favor of BSU? Wonder why he would feel that way?

Oh....wait...

There is reason to believe Wyoming could be just as bad if not worse than last season. Just because some Bronco fan points that out doesn't mean he's wrong. Notice how just about every publication has Wyoming at max 5 wins? There's a reason for it. They're not crazy, they're just not Wyoming fans either.

I love how some of these "prognosticators" bag on the 3-9 record from last year and immediately think the team got worse without even looking at who was on the 2010 schedule. The truth is, if BSU would have played our 2010 schedule they probably would have finished maybe 8-4, but more likely 7-5.

I think you guys just dont seem to get that BSU is the best team that ever played. And the fans are the best! Just ask them they will tell you!

Here is our schedule:
Southern Utah (FCS) W 28-20
at Texas L 7-34
Boise State L 6-50
Air Force L 14-20
at Toledo W 20-15
at TCU L L 0-45
Utah L 6-30
at BYU L 20-25
San Diego State L 38-48
at New Mexico 31-34 L
at UNLV L 16-42
11/20 Colorado State W 44-0

Please tell us what 4 or 5 teams would have Boise lost to???
-Lets see BSU did play and stomped both Utah and Toledo
-BYU and Texas were nowhere nearly as good as they usually are, Texas didnt even make a bowl and BYU lost to the same Utah State team Boise stomped
-UNM, UNLV and CSU were all terrible
-SDSU and Air Force lost to the same Utah team Boise stomped
-that leaves TCU

+1 And TCU lost to Boise State the previous season.

I think there were four teams that would have given BSU trouble. Since you want to play to who beat who game,

Texas was down last year, but they still beat Nebraska, I think they could have beat Boise
TCU was clearly better than Boise last year, than the year before
BYU lost to Utah State, but they also beat Washington who beat USC and Nebraska. In Provo, I think BYU would have had a shot at BSU
Utah beat Pittsburgh (who finished 8-5) and finished 10-3, Utah would have been competitive early in the season.
Boise barely beat VT.

I don't think my statement is that farefetched. Having to play quality oppoenents week to week is a little different than playing the likes of New Mexico State, La. Tech., Idaho, etc.

The if A beat B than A must be better than C argument is always a weak one. Why trace so far back for Texas? why not just look at the fact that they struggled to beat Wyoming 34-7 in Austin, yet BSU beat Wyoming 51-6 in Laramie. And it could have been much worse if Chris Petersen had kept the starters in. Utah got trounced by BSU, and the Broncos played terribly! BYU? Give me a break. Wouldn't have survived for a moment. Wyoming had an opportunity to beat BYU in Provo last year. They certainly didn't even have a prayer against BSU even at home.

I could go on and on about this, but I guess you're entitled to your opinion. I think the common college football fan would see your statement as quite far-fetched and a tad bias. The MWC is not as high and mighty as you think. Might I remind you, BSU is 12-1 against the MWC in the last 10 years. The "week in week out" argument only works for the SEC. By 2013, the MWC will basically be the WAC.
