Well it was a close matchup and while we didn't win it sure is great that Meredith knocked off Hell.

Big wins for Meredith, Bridges, and Turner!! Really close dual that we had a chance to win, the upper weights let us down, especially the bonus point losses.

It's too bad fans had to choose between sports, the basketball guys definitely could have used some extra support.

I’ve been following Wyoming wrestling since I was a kid. That was the best performance ever by a Wyoming team period!! Had Polson hung on, Wyoming would have beat An Oklahoma State loaded with all Americans. In any event, outside of HWT and 125, the entire team rose to the occasion and wrestled about as good as possible.

What a fun night at Stormy Gym!! I’ve seen a lot of duals in my life and that was the very best!

I would vote Bridges with the biggest upset. Brock is an absolute stud and Bridges put him to his back.

First college wrestling event I've attended. So much fun. Fast paced and exciting. WE wrestled really well. and lost 2 close ones that could have gone our way. Such a cool atmosphere.

Wow! what a night. That was the second coolest wrestling experience I've had as a fan next to watching Joe LeBlanc's runs in the NCAAs.

Gym was packed, everyone was into it, we wrestled out of our collective minds. I think we made some new fans.

OK state looked exhausted. They had a duel at UNC three days ago so that means they'd been at altitude for three days when they wrestled us and apparently altitude weariness peaks at 3 days. They looked gassed. Especially Heil. Wonder if that played a role in our success?

Very happy for Bryce. That's got to be a highlight of his career.

Being that we had such a great showing will this propel us into the top 25?

Wyoming was already in the top 25 of most polls.

This will propel Wyoming into the top 15 for dual teams IMO.

sounded neat and fun

You missed out. While I think it was a bit silly to have the basketball and wrestling events on the same day, it should have been an easy decision to stay in Cheyenne and watch an overachieving wrestling team that has competed all year with a ton of fire against the #3 ranked team in the country rather than the basketball team (which to this point I would say is underachieving) versus a relatively weak opponent in Northern Colorado.

I understand that not everyone understands the sport of wrestling because they didn't wrestle growing up; however, I doubt that a single person in the audience would say that they didn't enjoy watching this dual. There was some 9-10 year old kids sitting behind us that asked their parents at the end of the dual if they can watch wrestling again (that about sums it up to me).

I thought the same thing about OSU. Heil looked defeated after regulation and literally had nothing in the tank for overtime. I was actually hoping Bryce would have gone for the takedown at the end after he got the escape as I am sure that Bryce would have easily got one which would have been his first takedown ever against Heil (I understand not wanting to take the risk when the match was basically over). Heil reminded me why I can't stand watching him wrestle.

Polson has to be kicking himself. He had that match won but made a few silly mistakes and got out of position in the 3rd. That was the difference between beating and losing to OSU.

Hopefully the highlight of Meredith's career will be March 18, 2018 in Cleveland Ohio.
