GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - - Devon Beitzel scored 20 points as Northern Colorado defeated Wyoming for the first time in 73 years, winning 67-53 on Tuesday night.

This is how our season started out last year let's hope we don't see this again!

Stream will be up @ 6:30pm on the Livestream link LQ & Mobile.

I said that it will take time for the program to really improve. We may see a few more wins this year, but it will take some time for it to really take hold.

Last year

ALL GAMES (10-21) (10-7) (0-11) (0-3)
CONFERENCE (3-13) (3-5) (0-8) (0-0)
NON-CONFERENCE (7-8) (7-2) (0-3) (0-3)

I think even with a new coach and new players should be see a considerably better turn around. I don't expect a 20 win season but I expect more that 3 conference wins and 10 wins overall.

0-8 on the road and 3-5 at home I just don't see that happening again.

Dal are you streaming the game tonight? Sorry if this has been answered but is it only audio? If that's the case I should get off my lazy ass and head over the AA tonight :)

I really feel like this team could have the same turn around this season that football had. I think it's going to be a good rest of the year.

Ok this is my first time watching this years team.... WOW it is night and day from last year. I believe we can actually compete! I'm not saying we take the conference or anything but I don't see anymore of those embarrassing blowout losses we got so used to under Schroyer.

Yea those refs were pathetic.

Pretty nice turn around considering they beat us by 14 last year

Wyoming is now playing together as a team. The reason there were so many fouls (most of them on No.CO in the first half) was because No. Co. was playing an extremely tight defense and they were hacking and bumping us the whole game. In the second half, the officials were trying to even the fouls up by calling ticky-tack fouls on us. Cruz is a work-horse, but he was so tired at the end of the game he could barely run. The Cowboys played the best defense in this game that I have seen in years. Nance is showing much improvement. Martinez is a very good all-around player. Adam Waddell is much more aggressive, but under control, and gets up and down the floor much better since he took off the weight. Washington was frustrated last night because the officials kept calling some bad fouls on him and he fouled out at the end of the game.

Agreed. Hell even Afam ran up the court with more intensity than I have seen since he was a freshman. He looked like he actually gave a shit again.
