...I'm not sure how well his visit went. Listed at only 5'11" and 200 lbs with a 4.96 forty, his stats don't scream like an elite athlete. Coach C didn't have any bad misses with the first recruiting class so I'm sure that he has a plan for this kid as well if he indeed signs. He did have early interest from other decent mid-majors.

Sylla's scholly will be freed up next yearl....oooops wrong board.

His numbers are anything but spectacular, but if DC goes that far out of his way for a 1-star recruit, there has to be potential there, right? Otherwise it would've been easier to just give a scholarship to a walk-on or something... or even another Wyoming recruit?

Hmm... after a bit of more research, this kid seems to be a lot faster than what Scout indicates. His highlight video indicates that he has 4.53 speed rather than 4.93, and he does look a lot faster than 4.93, that's for sure. He seems to be a sure tackler with a nose for the ball. If he can handle the Laramie cold, then I'm guessing he'll be a solid performer.

There are a few other videos from his high school that he's in (look for number 4), but it's obviously a lot harder to find him that way :P
