NO MORE STUNNING UPSETS IN THE BIG DANCE

Up until this year, my favorite tournament games were on the first two days, because big upsets were possible. Because of NIL and the wide-open transfer rules, the really good "unknown" players on the "lesser" teams will be snatched up quickly by the "big-time" programs. No more UMBCs knocking off Virginia or FDUs knocking off Purdue or VCUs going from First Four to Final Four. That has been painfully evident this year. Oh well ... Money is everything!

Yep, it used to be that only the old dudes -- and they were mainly dudes -- got to move around at will while keeping all the money. The lucrative carousel was only for them. But now everyone gets to ride!

It has been a good tourney, but the Haves continue having more than the have-nots and that's the sad part. Wyoming will need to learn each other on the fly, hope that they gel for the season and try to find lightning in a bottle...NIL has a good concept for most players but not when it's paired up with a ridiculous transfer portal/free agency system....not even the true pros have it that good due to contractual obligations...this will fall in the next 5 years and unfortunately the NCAA will be so obsolete it won't matter much, especially with us lesser haves...loyalty will be hard for true fans, not to mention long time rivalries....sad
