No Longhorns drafted

I saw an article that said no Texas Longhorns were drafted and that this was their class that was rated #2 in the nation with eighteen 4 or 5 star players. Plus, every NFL team attended their Pro Day. This made me look around to see which teams were represented well or not. I checked out Utah to see how their "highest level players in college football" fared, as quoted by DC. It seems they had the same amount as Wyoming, two. Some big time programs also did as "well" as Texas did, Kansas, Illinois and Northwestern. It just shows that if you can play and are given a chance, the road to the NFL can go right through Laramie.

Just goes to show that evaluating talent on any level is not easy. Think about how many players ride the bench for schools like Texas, Alabama, etc. that could be starting at other schools but are never able to showcase their talent as a possible NFL draft pick. The NFL doesn't care what school you played at.
