Nice game guys

Looks like I overestimated Allen and our run game a bit much and underestimated our young secondary in my score prediction.

Hope you guys stay healthy and win out the rest of the year. Would love to hear about your Iowa City experience from those who made the trip. Be safe getting home.

Thanks for the good discussion!

Bit of a soft spot in my heart for Wyoming as my dad went to HS with a guy named Mike Rawson who played hoops and baseball for the Cowboys back in the early 60s.

Good luck to you guys. This was a very good Hawkeye defense you saw today, so plenty of upside from here with Allen. Gotta find a bit of a run game, but that's what we're built to stop, so I would expect that to look better vs other competition.

I think our main concern is that your inexperienced secondary had no problem staying glued to our receivers downfield. Allen had to throw the ball 30 yards to get 5 yard completions too. Well executed game plan on defense for sure. I'm hoping your corners and safeties really ARE that good and that it's not our receivers who are THAT bad.

Glad to see none of your players attempted to be dirty with Allen. It's been my big worry all summer. You kept him contained without going too far.
