Did anyone watch the Indy-Seattle game? That was a damn good game.
Did anyone watch the Broncos barely get by Dallas? That was even better! Broncos are 5-0, yeeeeeaaaaaah!

Still, Romo put up over 500 yards passing, multiple TDs, and only threw the pick (as costly as it was) under heavy pressure, and it was only his second of the season.

exactly......he had a career game and when it mattered he blew it

I wouldn't say that Romo blew it. It was a hell of a play by Trevathan and Romo should get no blame for that pass. The guy was open and it took a full out dive to intercept the pass. He played a hell of a game today and gets too much bad credit than he deserves. With that said GO Broncos!

Yeah as a Bronco fan watching the game, it was more of the LB making the play, rather than Romo blowing it.
But it's hard to say Romo doesn't have a reputation of doing that type of thing.
Yeah it was only 1 pick, but it was also with less than 2 minutes left deep in their own territory in a tie game.
I feel bad for Romo. But then I think about how hot his wife is, and the millions of dollars he has and how he gets to play in the NFL and I don't feel bad for him one bit.

And where, exactly was the Dallas defense during the 58 minutes when Romo put up over 500 yards?

Normally I would agree with you, but the dude has a bit of a history of giving away close games

Not a Dallas Cowboys fan or anything, but I find it funny when his haters are quiet when he wins and only pop up when he loses.

My Vikings are sure working hard to piss away a good draft pick by winning these meaningless games. That being said it was fun to see all the backups play so well since there are so many injuries. Heck, they looked better than the starters have all season.......go figure!

i only popped up because this is a college football board

believe me....i rag on romo all of the time

Yeah, Romo wasn't that great in the 4th quarter yesterday, but his defense was worse.
They gave up a huge lead.
Romo is a slightly above average QB with a totally mediocre cast around him.

Didn't someone on ESPN say the Cowboys, over the span of the last 16 seasons are like 128-128?
That right there is the definition of mediocre.

Yeah no kidding. Now I'll be able to attend the AFC championship game in Denver to watch my Patriots go to the Super Bowl :thumb:

When you have an owner like Jerry Jones mediocrity is ok. As long as people are talking about the Cowboys he is happy with that.

And as a Cowboys fan (both Wyoming and Dallas) it pisses me off to no end. I've been a Cowboys fan since I was small, and watched them win the Championship in '92, '93', and '95. Since then, it's been mediocre to say the least. The second half of that game yesterday afternoon was hard to watch. And it makes me angry that I watched the first half knowing that it would come down to an ending like that.

I think the problem really is Jerry Jones. You can't have an executive micro-managing every aspect of the organization like that and expect it to be successful. And I don't pin much of the blame on Romo. He's playing with what he has, which should be good enough to get the job done. But when you've got a defense that gives up a 23 point halftime lead, you can't hang that one on the quarterback, even if he did throw the late interception. Shouldn't have come to that.

Oh well, here's to a new day in Wyoming Cowboy football, and hopefully in Dallas Cowboy football sometime soon.

GO POKES!
