Next years Texas game

I don't know if it is just me, but from reading around (more specifically on the rivals board), it seems like a whole lot of cowboy fans are planning on selling their extra tickets for the texas game to texas fans at an inflated price. I understand people wanting to make some money on their tickets, but I sure hope that the majority of Cowboy fans don't do that. Texas was alloted something like 5000 tickets, and personally I don't want there being more than the 5000 texas fans at the game.

For me the fun of the experience will be like the Virginia game where there was 28000 Cowboy fans in gold screaming their heads off. If all the cowboy fans sell their tickets to texas fans instead of other cowboy fans just to make an extra couple of bucks, then we will see 10000+ texas fans at the game, and lose our home field atmosphere at the game.

Just my 2 cents but I sure hope Cowboy fans keep the tickets with other Cowboy fans and really make it a fun electric home atmosphere for us, and not for the opposition.

I'm pretty excited for this game.. I'm definitely coming down for it.. I really don't want to see a lot of burnt orange in the seats.

Yes agreed, I got some extra TX tickets when I renewed my season tickets, in an attempt to help control who is at the game. I plan on making sure my extra tickets go to Wyoming fans.

Texas should be #2 or #3 coming into that game, been awhile since UW has had such a highly ranked opponent come to town. A win would do wonders for the program.

It's nice to hear from many of you that you plan on selling to Wyo fans. I like that idea much better than selling to texas

I am reserving mine for my brother. If he can't come then I'll seek another wyo fan, maybe convince my dad to go.

I will absolutely sell my extras to UW fans. Unless some Texan BO bubba blowhard comes calling with a cool K for each. Then, call me a whore, it is bevo time, I will be in the parking lot counting out my 16 grand wondering why I didn't buy more to put a larger down payment on a effing house.

And yes, I will sneak in at half time. For free.

Mine are going to family or friends first. If by any chance I can't find any who want to go, I will look to WYONATION first for a UW fan in need, and would sell them at a fair price. No TX fans will get my tickets.

They are going for almost 400 on stub hub, so you've gotta believe many Wyomingites are going to cash in on this. Additionally, with a going rate like that, you can bet national scalpers have already got in on, or will get in on the money to be had via the online ticket office.

What I am a little unsure about is what is for sale single game ticket wise? It said in the Trib that only 1500-2000 tickets would go on sale to the public. How is that? They said 5,000 were allocated to Texas. There can't be 25,000 season ticket holders! Did all of the single game tickets go to season ticket buyers?

Oh well, it looks at this point like I will be back at UW for the fall, so all I care about is how many students are going to be let in. I still remember standing in line at 5:30 am for the WNIT championship, which turned out to be unnecessary as people arriving at 11 and 12 got in just fine! But it was totally worth it. I think we drank a fifth of vodka by 10, and had a fifth of pepp schnapps delivered @ 11. I don't really remember the 2nd half of the game. I'll be totally down for one more morning like that should it be required for Texas @ UW.

I agree with everyone else...gotta keep the Horn fans to a minimum. Planning on coming down for the game myself. Been awhile since we've hosted such a big game. Just hope there's enough tickets for me and the family. If not, I'll just have to leave them at home!

I would love to have 2 tickets. how much? I have an 11 yr old child who really wants to go to this game. Please help if you can. Thanks
