So apparently, this is now a thing...

Looks like it's on the southeast corner of the War's parking lot...interesting...thoughts?

I like it, Will that be sitting in front of the RAC? Haven't been to the War in ages not sure how that brick look will be unless the building behind it is the same brick.

It is part of the new Rochelle Gateway Center. The "breaking through" I assumes refers to our reputation as the Equality State since it is a woman on the bronc.

If it's in front of the RAC it will look good, the breaking through could mean many things could be used for athletics or anything else.

I definitely think it looks good and can see the equality explanation.

It is not in front of the RAC, it is at the Rochelle Gateway Center. That is the new building between Grand and the Ford parking lot to the east of War Memorial.

I am in a bad enough mood today that I will provide my unfiltered opinion of the statue in question.

It's cheesy as hell. Yeah, someone would ride a horse through a stone wall. The message conveyed to me is "we had some extra money for artwork."

Little cheesy, but wife isn't from Wyoming and loves it, and I'm glad they're paying homage to the women of the state and the notion of The Equality State.

I was on campus this last weekend for graduation and saw the statue, very impressive. As far as the placement, it is a little awkwardly placed at the SE entrance to the stadium parking lot. It will get a fair amount of traffic and is visually stunning the first time you see it.
