New Stadium Announcer

While I am critical of ol' Reece, I wanted to offer a compliment to the new stadium announcer at the War. He does a nice job.

My favorite Jack Nokes moment was when we were playing New Mexico (I think) during the Vic years. We lined up for a PAT and the kicker smoked the ball right into the center's butt. Unbeknownst to him, Jack's mike was hot...and after the play, he disgustedly offered the words: "oh Jesus Christ" into the open air of the War. He said what we were all thinking. Hilarious.
 
Ahhhhh, he sucks!!!

The mistakes are endless. He is clearly not a in-stadium kind of announcer...likely thrown to the wolves by UW, poor bastard.

It would be better to have silence.

The sound at the War has never been great, even with the $1,000,000 upgrade! The last home game about killed me with the PA feedback from the ref microphone. LOL
 
I think the new PA announcer has been a major upgrade. The only issues I have is that I think they should up the volume on his microphone a bit, and yes, the static or the nails on a chalkboard sound when the officials try to talk into the mic for penalty calls is spine tingling and not in a good way.
 
If its the same one that does bball he is too much Mr. Rogers(esk) for me...but i lived with Jack Nokes for almost 40 years as well
