Why doesn't the MWC make a deal with the Big12 for a bowl game?

We have a few with the Pac12. Let's get some with the Big12.

They don't want to play us. Little upside to playing us.

There's little upside in shitty bowls involving 6 win teams, regardless of the opponent.

Bowl games with the PAC make geographic sense when games are in Vegas, San Diego. A bowl game in the Texas area would be great as well for teams in the mountain division.
Do I care if we get a bowl tie with the big 12? Not really. But I would more likely go to a bowl game in Texas against a crappy big 12 team than to Boise, Louisiana, etc. and play a total nobody if Wyoming was invited
