This ESPN post says it all - I watched the game and it was a bad call by the ref as well as the NM Coach who for calling that play, they were up by 3 with the ball. This game showed me that the Cowboys can beat SDSU in Laramie.

From Mountain West: COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. With 12.9 seconds remaining in regulation in this evening's New Mexico at San Diego State game, the official covering the in-bounds play ruled the New Mexico player had not established out-of-bounds status before receiving the ball. The result was a turnover which gave the ball to San Diego State. While this was a very close judgment call made at full speed, it has been determined after careful review of slow-motion video replays the call was in fact incorrect. The New Mexico player did get one foot down (two feet are not required) out-of-bounds before receiving the ball, thus establishing his location in accordance NCAA Basketball Playing Rules 4.23.1.a and 7.1.1. By rule, the officials were not permitted to go to the monitor during the game to review this play. The Mountain West will have no further comment.

And because of that blown call, league officials are deciding whether to suspend Josh Adams one or two games

That's about right!!! Goddamn the officiating in this league this year and the administrations handling of things is just straight fucking BUSH league. It's exactly the kind of weak ass shit that makes people not take you seriously. Let's just hope we can get a straight enough shake come MWC tourney. Nothing however can get the smell off of doing things like the drop to 8 for the future MWC tourney. Thanks a lot to the higher ups keep on kicking ass :thumb:  :puke: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst: :protesst:

.

The Cowboys always can beat SDSU in Laramie. Wyoming plays tough down at Veijas - and they come up here and play tough - but its usually the home team that wins.

There is no reason we won't beat them at home. There is no reason they won't beat us at home either. The most important thing we can do is realize that no matter how much it is emphasized, unless your a 60 year old man, out of shape, trying to run up some stairs in laramie, elevation doesn't matter.

Seriously - someone running a mile on a track in laramie might do it a bit fasters - say 1 second at seas level. You might get a 1 second advantage at sea level. They do add up sometime (expecially in basketball). If you are in shape as an NCAA athlete - you should be able to compete everywhere.

Wyoming needs to remind everyone that coming to Laramie means that if you can overcome the odds, you can win in your personal and professional life.

Wyoming is getting the odds stacked up against them lately.
