Sad loss. Sucks to lose this one. But I gotta say. I've really been enjoying the hard fought rivalry between WYO and UNM the last several years.
I still say Wyoming could have beat any team in the MWC last Wednesday night, but how can a team go from playing their best game of the season on Wednesday and then play their worst game of the season on Saturday - 3 days later? I'm disappointed but still going to LV.
PS: When I say team, I am including the coaching staff in that.

Here's my report card of my visit to the Pit, it is just that a Pit, it's a neat place but it's truly nothing special, their fans some were cool, but they had theirs too, they reminded me of Utah Jazz fans and they only see the game one way and that's the Red and White way. One lady had a problem with me sitting in the student section and continually mocked me, after the game I shouted out to her when I was leaving "enjoy your 8 seed"...lol
Larry tried but he can't play 8-5, those refs were truly letting them play, almost too much, Josh was outta control for the most part, Riley needed to keep shooting it and get to the line more, DC he must not like it there, cuz I've never seen him play well at the Pit ever...Jack needed to shoot more, Jason was ok, but we really kept it where we needed too but the ball wasn't falling. It was a cool feeling to take them to OT but it wasn't ours to be.
I'm ok with the 4 seed as I think we'll be able to get USU again, then what..
I'm glad I went to the Pit as I've always wanted to, but I'll not make a special weekend trip ever again.
Cmon Pokes here's where it starts, let's give the conference something to talk about and maybe just maybe squeak into the tourney.
