new kickoff rule

moved up and 25 yardline touchbacks. You guys think this will benefit wyoming? I think it will swing the field position battle more to our favor. I think our kickers will be very good at kicking it to the 1 yd line (since we couldn't seem to get it into the endzone) and possibly keeping other teams inside the 25, whereas we might be starting at the 25 yd line more often.

Either that or we don't see any real kickoff and teams do the sky kick or more squib type kicks.

I think teams will get creative. Personally i wish we would just kick it out of the end zone and give the other team the ball at the 25.

I also think it is a dumb rule and they should move it back to the 20. Call me a traditionalist.

they talk about safety but it never seemed to me to have any higher of an injury/incidence rate than standard offensive plays
