New commit per Holmgren

Starts off with good size already. 6'4 297lbs. A lot like Ryan Cummings last year (6'4 295lbs).

Well, this couldn't come at a better time. Just when we have the arguement that we only get undersized lineman.

Can't recruit big guys to Wyoming.

Didn't Glenn have big guys. Texas then Midwest then? It seemed like 75% of each recruiting class was linemen.

Ya there was a argument in another thread about Wyoming recruiting had to have flexibility because we can't get big lineman.

Well shit. That's a great pickup. Doesn't help us this year but if Bohl is around to see this kid graduate he may actually be a fantastic signing!

Bohl is owning Oklahoma! Reminder, a state with 2 Big XII schools and a G5.

Love seeing this:

Webb, from Hollis, Oklahoma, also held offers from Arkansas, Army and Louisville, among others. But he said Wyoming has been at the top of his list all along.

Has anyone seen enough of him to know his strength and quickness and project his best spot along the line? Is his best future spot on the line different from where he is most able to possibly contribute next year?

The fact this kid was getting recruited and held an offer from Arkansas whose head coach is Bret Bielema and has always recruited great lineman while at Wisconsin and now at Arkansas and also the fact that Louisville and Bobby Petrino offered him tells me Bohl can get the linemen he needs.

I'll be honest and say I had my doubts we could ever get the lineman we needed here because Glenn didn't do it but this is a great pick up. Hope to see more like this.

HOLY CRAP! After watching his Hudl tape, I am seriously impressed with his strength and mobility. Granted, this is HS ball we are talking about...but this is the type of player we need...a man amongst boys, and he is...

One caveat about him that I'll mention is he's playing at a low level. Hollis is one of the smallest schools in OK Class A, which is the lowest level of 11-man football.

BTW Chandler Garrett is from the 5th largest school in the state.

On top of this signing we already had 2 other commits on the OL-Weeks and not sure the other guys name, both are between 270-290 though.
And I believe another DE at about 240. Oh, and that decent QB from OK aswell. I think we're starting to right the ship. I've been impressed with all of Bohls recruiting. Each class seems to up the other, which is definitely good.

Must have seen we needed OL bad on Saturday since he was up on his official visit

lol. We should have a pretty good recruiting pitch to potential linemen for the next year or two; at least if they want to play right away.
