Washington State also reaches the top 10.

And to think, USU fans wanted Matt Wells' head during the prior two seasons. Can "Building Something Special" get the Pokes ranked anytime soon?

Crazy. We should have beaten two top 25 teams this year..

We've played a tough schedule so far

The schedule looked front loaded before the season and that was before Utah State and Hawaii showed up

Four teams that are ranked or have been ranked at one point, an sec team on the road, and Hawaii on the road, I would say it definitely has been tough.

Any type of decent offense at Hawaii and the Pokes win that one.

Two plays ultimately cost the Pokes a win against USU. Special teams breakdown on the USU kickoff return for TD and the INT by USU deep in WYO territory. The defense played lights out against that Aggie offense and deserved a better outcome.

The Wazzu game would've stayed within reach if the offense had actually managed to move the ball as well. Defense just died late in the game because we couldn't hold on to the ball for more than a couple of minutes each possession.

Interesting finish ahead in the Mountain West. Can't say I came away from the Utah State game with the impression that they're better than Boise.

I agree - Fresno looks like the best in the MWC right now.

Their loss to Minnesota really sucks, but they made a lot of mistakes in that game, and it still came down to a last second play (the interception).

I actually don't mind Fresno fans, but maybe it has to do with them genuinely cheering for Allen to succeed, and now they're also hoping Chambers does well too.

Tedford is apparently getting the job done. Wasn't he interested in the Wyo job before it was offered to Bohl?

I dont know who expressed the interest (UW or Tedford) but his name was linked to UW after CDC was canned.
